My wife insisted that I buy the briôche from the local patisserie with a booth at the farmer's market today. We also bought a walnut baguette.
The chef spoke French and we chatted briefly (il y a quinze ans que je l'ai étudié) until I lost the conversation.
Anyway, it's a 60% butter briôche with Trader Joe's uncured pastrami and Swiss, toasted, and topped with some red lettuce and spinach and dijon mustard.
